Service rating : Everything was great from calling and setting up the appt, through to the install. Very happy! The people at phantom were very friendly & helpful. They did not rush me on the phone with my questions. they were knowledgeable and explained the different door/door handles.
Product : Phantom makes a high quality screen that we are very satisfied with. We replaced our old one with a new one, with the latch close and lock. The installer was very efficient and friendly. They have a great warranty on the door and track which gives us peace of mind if anything should ever happen.

Service rating : We love our screen door but your service was poor. From the time we requested the door to the actual installation was almost 3 months. We also ordered a screen door with a lock but did not receive one. Unsure of where the lack of communication happened. We finally, settled on a screen door with no lock, as we were unwilling to wait any longer. The actual installer, named Colin, was efficient and personable.

Product : We love the screen door. The latch is very sturdy, it fits very well and slides easily. We have used the silicone spray left for us to keep the tracks gliding freely. We are very much enjoying the cross through breeze. we now get in our house.

Service rating : The installers re friendly and communicative. They actually think though a problem. The replacement screen went up without problem. It was the finishing og the track that was tricky but in the end the look was neat and clean. The screen travel up and down without any problem and keep the birds and insects at bay.

Service rating : The installer was pleasant & went over proper operation & do not do,s . Also suggested that if we were moving large objects in or out to phone him & he would remove & re install @ no charge . could not ask for more !!
Product : Phoned the dealer one day & made an appointment . The next day showed as promised ; installed the screen . This experience was seamless & pleasant . You find this rarely in the world we live in . I would refer this business & this product to anyone that asked .

Service rating : Our large Pantomime patio screen stopped working and everyone at Somers Screens went above and beyond. Debbie in the office was so pleasant and helpful getting service people out at a very busy time. The service people got the screen working again, returning at a later date to completely replace and install a new screen. They all were friendly and professional. I could not have been happier. I highly recommend Somers Screens.

Service rating : Let me start by saying that the Phantom Screen itself is great. I have no issues with their product.
My disappointment comes in because of what I think is / was a misleading description of their "Lifetime Warranty". When I bought the Screen, that was the deciding factor. I went with a much more expensive screen because it was "Fully warrantied for as long us I owned it"....
Fast forward to July 2nd. A family member pushed the button on the remote to raise the screen. About 1/3 of the way up, the left side of the lower arm locked in place and would not / could not move. The upper mechanism (that pulls the lower arm up and rolls the screen) must not have any way of sensing the increase in tension because something is jammed and no longer moving. The upper mechanism simply continued to pull on a no longer moving lower arm until something had to give....and what gave was the fabric of the screen. The screen fabric ripped at the lower left edge.
This happened on a Sunday night. I left messages for my distributor and Phantom Screen asking for someone to call me back on Monday so that I could unlock the lower arm and keep the screen from tearing even more. I called repeatedly during the week and finally got a call back from my distributor that there was nothing they could do for 10 more days.
When they finally did come out, both technicians that came were in complete agreement that the lower arm failed - not the screen - and that I was covered under the lifetime warranty.
And then "the call" came from some poor receptionist who was left to do "the dirty work" to tell me that Phantom Screen had rejected the warranty claim because Phantom Screen had retroactively changed their warranty after my purchase and would no longer warranty my screen. If I wanted new fabric, I was told it would be $1200....and take 4-6 week during the hottest part of the summer.
I am the type that will pay extra for a product that has a good warranty. I did my due diligence and bought a good product with a GREAT warranty...or so I thought. I feel mislead and swindled.
