Warranty FAQs

Have some questions about our retractable screens?

We've got you covered: there are the questions we get most often.

Our warranty is the best in the industry. If you have problems with our screens, we want to get them fixed for you right away.

Our limited lifetime warranty covers the screen components (not including the mesh) to the original purchaser for their lifetime in their home. As a bonus, we also include a labor warranty that covers the delivery and installation of the warranted components for the first 24 months.

“Limited” means that our warranty doesn’t cover every single component. For instance, the mesh is excluded. But all of the warrantied components are guaranteed for life to the original purchaser of the product.

Lifetime means for life. Your life, if you’re the original purchaser of the screen. In other words, your children can inherit your Phantom screens, but not the warranty.

The process is simple.

  1. Contact your local expert for service.
  2. Include your proof of purchase with your claim details.
  3. They’ll review the claim, examine the screen if necessary, and make service, repairs and replacements as appropriate.

Since it is already a lifetime warranty, you would also need to extend your life. And if you find a way to do that, we definitely want to hear about it.

While our mesh is not covered under warranty, it IS guaranteed for manufacturer’s defects. So you can feel reassured on that front.

No. The new owners can have your Phantom screens, but they can’t have your warranty.

Yes, the warranty is only applicable to the original installation of the product. Any alterations or modifications will void your warranty, including reinstalling it.

The warranty’s labor clause covers the delivery and installation of the warranted components for the first 24 months.
