The homeowners were proud to purchase this riverside contemporary, vaulted ceiling apartment in the heart of one of British Columbia’s most picturesque towns. They were fans of the condo’s cozy and bright bedroom and fell in love with the patio which overlooked the town and the heritage railroad station.

The need
The home owners love keeping the doors open, but the river side location made mosquitoes from the river were a pesky disturbance. Also, street lighting on the road spilled into the condo in the evening making sleep incredibly difficult.
The Solution
With a retractable door screen installed onto to their balcony and retractable window screens with black out mesh for their bedroom, both issues were solved. The couple was able to keep the clean lines of their modern decorating style and keep the light out of their bedroom at night and the bugs at bay.
